So... few things cause me as much gut-wrenching frustration as "hardcore". Music built on passion and motivation and inspiration, and yet i am repeatedly slapped in the face by absurd macho idiocy. Fashion, social exclusivity, revenue, all things so many of us have tried to avoid have become mainstays, even trademarks. what a shame.Anyway enough moaning, heres the first gem from the record crate. CT straight edge rippers Up Front, now theres a band who's style has evolved over the years. Just check out their first full length "Spirit" and them compare it to 1997's "Movement".
1990's Daybreak offers some great melodic yet fast paced numbers, sorry about the amateurish track seperation, it is after all my first rip. If there's any probs just leave a comment and i'll fix things. This pic btw is from the 1993 re-issue. Get it got!
